The contract text you paste or upload is sent to our server and to an AI model (Anthropic) to run your scan, then discarded. We do not store your contract on our servers, and locked report content is held only as an encrypted blob in your own browser until you unlock it. Per Anthropic's API terms, API inputs are not used to train their models.
We ask for your email so we can send your report link and the occasional contract tip. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe (as required by the Australian Spam Act). We don't sell or share your email with anyone.
If you scan a contract that needs the paid unlock but don't complete it, we briefly hold your email and basic scan details (contract type, verdict — never the contract text itself) so we can send a single reminder with your report link. This is deleted automatically after 48 hours, or immediately once you pay or unsubscribe.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data; we receive only the payment confirmation, amount, and the email you entered at checkout (used for your receipt and product delivery).
We don't run third-party ad trackers. Session storage in your browser is used to keep your scan available while you pay — it stays on your device and expires when the tab closes.
